Ever since 2013, YG has been slowly talking about the coming of the second 2NE1 generation. Finally, in the year 2016, Papa YG has confirmed through media outlets that the new girl group are hoping to debut sometime this July. Throughout the years, there have been many talks and rumors about the girl group’s final line up. The rumored trainees are faces that are well known throughout the K-Pop industry. The main theme for the new group was set when Yang HyunSeok wanted to create a hip hop girl group who were also tremendously pretty.
The confirmed members have been revealed as Jennie, Lisa, JiSoo, and Rose! All the girls had appeared on screen an on stage since their pre-debut. The new girl group will be the second girl group that YG will be managing on a large scale, and we can’t wait!
